Vans Collaborates With The Beatles 'Yellow Submarine' on First-Ever Footwear Capsule

Pharrell's hat may have gotten most of the fashion attention at last night's Grammy Awards, but there was another major style coup waiting in the wings: a new collaboration between The Beatles and Vans. A nice addendum to Paul and Ringo's Grammy performance, don't you think?
Created to mark the 50th anniversary of Beatlemania sweeping the nation, the shoes boast Yellow Submarine graphics from both the album and the animated film (drawn by modern artist Heinz Edelmann). The sneakers launch on March vans.com, and retail for $65–$75 per pair.

This is the first time a footwear brand has ever been granted permission to use The Beatles' album art on a shoe, because all you need is love, but a cute pair of high tops can't hurt, either.
